Mines is a tough admit. I got into Rice in ‘92 but got a “thanks for trying” letter from Mines.

They only have 9-10 programs total, all in engineering. Our daughter applied there, but ended up at CU. Golden is a nice town, we stop in there a few times a year.

My dad mastered in geophysics from Colo. School of Mines, was a Chevron man for a long while.

yeah co school of mines is very difficult to get into. the one guy i know that went there is literally a rocket scientist and in charge of putting various satellites into space

My kid's gonna double major in mining and coding, so he'll be set whichever way the political tide turns.
