re: If you had to choose only one guarantee this year. Saints Superbowl or LSU National Champ?

But why is that? They're your state's NFL team.
Not trying to argue, but I hear this a lot and I don't get it.

I barely watch the nfl. I don’t dislike them or pull against them, I just don’t care if they win or lose. It’s not like I have another team I prefer

white collar crowd will say LSU
blue collar crowd will say Saints.

Saints Super Bowl easy.
Super Bowl Sunday is much more exciting with the Saints than a Monday night championship game.

Same. When I was a kid, I loved the Saints. Then one year Morten was a Falcon. Ricky was a 49er. Swilling was a Lion. Big Sam was a Panther.
Then I looked at the crowd at a Saints game I was attending. I saw the guy that changed my oil and my lawn guy. I quickly realized we were not cut from the same cloth.
Don’t get me wrong. I don’t want the Saints to lose. But don’t really care if they win either.

This is so bullshite. I dont even get why there is this animosity. And it always seems to be LSU fans hating the saints. I rarely see it the other way.
I grew up loving both teams, went to LSU and want both to win equally.
The premise if this thread sucks because you dont have to choose.

Don't own a jersey.
It really comes across pretty pathetic. It's like you feel threatened that someone could like another sports team

Why wouldn’t I want to be associated with this fan base?

Relax homey. I said I didn’t want them to lose.
I’ll see you Tuesday for an oil change.

LSU Natty.
Saints players still go home with a million dollar paycheck after the game. Winning doesn’t mean as much.
Besides used to go to all the LSU basketball camps as a kid. Its hard to make a connection with a professional sports franchise when they could up and move like the Raiders or Supersonics. Saints might not be here in 10 years, LSU will always be

LSU Natty for me.
Been a Saints fan since their creation but they are are a distant 2nd to my LSU Tigers in answer to the OP’s question.

The way this is worded says that while one is guaranteed, the other is still possible. I’d definitely take the saints winning 4 straight with the guarantee.
LSU needs to win one game and is clearly the better team, I like that to happen on its own.
