Thank your for the effort! The herding cats analogy is perfect for the OT though.

Honestly my favorite part about gel eyeliner is simply being able to apply it with a thin angles brush
Don't waste your money on the MAC or Sephora thin angled brushes the one from ELF is fine
Pretty sure MAC brushes are just repackaged ELF brushes with the MAC logo on it
With that being said my foundation/concealer/powder are all MAC.

I don't even try fancy makeup tutorials
I know I would fail.
I mostly just love to play with eye makeup. I think I'll wear purple Monday.

It would even the playing field for women who know how to wear it vs those that don't. But still those who are naturally beautiful would still have more dating options.
Oh, actually if you were having what I like calling 'ugly' days, you'd just stay at home to avoid being seen with breakouts or splotchy, pale skin since you wouldn't have makeup to cover up the blemishes.

I'll have to try the IT gel liner for horse shows if it's that good. I need something that doesn't budge in sweat.

Just purple? Or blended with another shade? From what palette? And with what blending brush?

I went back to my benefit roller lash
Think I'm just gonna stick with that for awhile. Will just continue buying the smaller size.

Sure...we will all just leave this thread and go to the makeup tips thread.
And then no one will post in this thread

Black liner. Purple from who know which of my millions of options, but my absolute favorite palette is the naked basics2. I'm usually a slight shimmer girl so I wasn't sure about the all matte but I love it and every shade is super usable.
Also, purple (more like deep plum) is the only "color" I can get away with bc of my blue eyes.

Does anyone here use a beauty blender
I bought one at Sephora for $20 but don't really see the improvement from the typical buffing brush I use
Maybe I use it wrong. I make it damp before using

Seems the pro makeup crowd want's to avoid the question and post makeup tips, noted!

That's totally what I do. I switch between roller lash and they're real.

YES! I apply the powder benefit hello flawless with it and it provides good light coverage.
I use mine damp.
The girl at ulta told me to use the blender.

I know a group of Pentecostal women that don't wear makeup. They dress fancy otherwise, but every one of them have sunken eyes and ruddy skin.
I bet they stay indoors in-line with vampires though. And these women are Pentacostal so they aint trying to keep up with the Jones' or trying to get beach bodies for that big vacation or their daily cleavage selfies. They've given up on a life of appearances by traditional societal standards.
My theory on why there's a higher concentration of good looking women down south vs up north is that down here you don't have to put in work year-around to get a good sweat going. Moisture/Humidity is great for your skin and we have no shortage of it.
If we're thinking of all the superficial traits that make a hot woman (body, facial structure, skin, teeth), consider this: We're always #1 or #2 in obesity so statistically worse bodies. Facial structure comes down to genetics/ethnicity and I'd say this is a wash because though we have a high concentration French and Spanish in this area, there aren't any overt qualities or traits that supplant the qualities of other ethnicities IMO. Teeth is another wash as there's nothing ethnically or regionally definable. Example: Brits are known for having bad teeth. And then there's skin. Without sweating you're not excreting the amount of waste and bad toxins that is systemically normal (30% of our waste is and should be excreted through our skin). That and dry, flaky skin + less vitamin D because of less sunlight exposure = bad news bears for a healthy look.

Benefit makes some type of brow volumizer brush and I love it. I'll have to buy some next time I'm in Ulta.
Never knew all the work it takes to appear put together. Men have no idea with the makeup, doing hair and nails, and waxing. Sometimes I'd kill to be a guy and to wake up and only have to put on a tshirt and jeans and not worry about if my skin was fine today

I like their kabrow too.
I try to have pretty nails and feet but I spend too much time at the barn and in boots for that. Sigh.

As a guy I obviously don't wear eye makeup apart from the occasional light application of brown eyeliner but for shits and giggles I can do some cool things with the LORAC pro palette. Fan of the champagne shimmer shade on that one. Mattes are harder to use.
