So in 150 years the temp has changed 1.5 degrees, yet this is has never happened before. And I'm sure there are collecting the same temps in the same locations with the same accuracy. Amirite?

Would you support regulations on greenhouse gas emissions that didn't increase anyone's income taxes? Why not?

Ice cores and geology tell us that is probably correct.

If you aren't incresing cost of goods via taxes, you are incresing it due to compliance, there is no net difference.

That is a fair argument. Probably that is where we will just agree to disagree. I would argue there is a way you can apportion the costs of the regs in such a way it doesn't cause an undue burden on business or consumers.

No. Increased regulation leads to increased costs passed on to the consumer.

Maybe, maybe not. I understand that in pure economic terms that's correct, but you can offset it through other tax breaks. The fed gov does shite like this all the time. Again, these are the same arguments people used against the clean air and water acts, and it has been fine.

Do you even Dangaard-Oeschger Event, brah?
quote:

In the Northern Hemisphere, they take the form of rapid warming episodes, typically in a matter of decades, each followed by gradual cooling over a longer period. For example, about 11,500 years ago, averaged annual temperatures on the Greenland ice sheet warmed by around 8 °C over 40 years, in three steps of five years (see,[3] Stewart, chapter 13), where a 5 °C change over 30–40 years is more common.

I would not because it will increase costs to us in production costs passed to the customer but mostly BECAUSE IT IS CHANGE FOR THE SAKE OF SOME SCIENTISTS AND OTHERS GETTING A PAY CHECK FOR NOTHING.

You are aware that the CO2 levels from ice cores are just a vague estimation, right?

Probably not, you're swimming in the koolaid and seem incapable of having a rational thought.

It has been hot for sure but it has been hot before.
Today in Orlando it is projected to 82.
The record for this day is 85...set in 1956.

Yes. There is no way they are compensating for the effects of the sun, volcanoes and cow farts. These influences make their little computer generated human effects of no consequence whatsoever.

Even worse is that the 1.5 degrees of smaller than the error in the temperature readings

I'm not the one trying to politicize the argument by making general statements tying certain views to politics, I don't give 2 shits about politics involved.
