If I could Start Over

1. 18 years old: Graduate from High School.
2. Buy cheap land
3. Live in a tent and grow a garden.
4. Buy and Sell things on the internet.
If I could go back. I would tell myself don't fricking move a muscle and start looking for land and a tent.
If you have a creek on your property you can have running water to brush your teeth and wash your clothes. Wonderful idea. Just get a shed thats already built and insulate it. you could have an owl house on the property too.

That it? I would buy 10,000 Bitcoin when it was .25 per.

ROTC in college, graduate as a military officer.
Retire at 42 after 20 years, and travel for the rest of my life.

This is obvious to anyone who has met you.
And to all of us here who haven’t.

1) Just need to go back to 20 years old when I was going to undergrad for free and major in IT or Engineering, instead of going into Pharmacy and taking out 100k in loans.

18 I’d buy apple and Microsoft. Ride the dot com bubble into Amazon. Roll all that into bitcoin until 19k and then go back in Amazon.
Then put 10 Million on Burrow to win Heisman for OT street cred.

How much you got left over? I just paid off all my student debt after 7 years.

Just about all of it. Graduated in 2019. It came out to like 120k after interest.
I work at a hospital that qualifies for the PSLF program, so I’m hoping I can last 10 years, pay the minimum, and have the rest forgiven

What’s funny is I’d like to do exactly the opposite. Paw in law owns his own pharmacy and makes bank working 3 days a week. I’m in IT and have been pigeon holed in nearly obsolete software support for close to 20yrs with zero job security.
