How do you want to go about doing this? Government telling store/property owners they have to make parking spaces a certain width, protesting....parking lots, vigilante restriping in the middle of the night?

I don't mind the normal spaces at most places. But I've grown to hate the straight in spots whenever I'm driving the family around in the wife's (no pics) van. You'd give up a space, maybe two at the most, by having slanted spots that everyone can turn into easier. That big body van can be a bitch to park in a tight parking lot with straight in spots.
In my Jeep, I can park that thing anywhere.

Maybe not you but this is a two way street most of the time. Fatties are fat and owners of large vehicles expect special treatment

This. I drive a big arse loud truck. It is hard to park. I understand that part of the price of driving such a beast is I probably need to park in the back of the lot. If I squeeze in between a mini van and an suv driven by soccer moms I know ahead of time I'm in for a door ding.

I pull in backwards at straight-lined spots. Easier to get in and out.

I would but it is hard to see out the back sometimes with a load of passengers. And I'm an old luddite who doesn't trust the technology that is the back up camera.

wont matter where you put any space for any specific vehicle. Fatties will circle a parking lot. Even at the gym to get close to the door. Fat bastards just dont want to walk.
