I don't always have medical questions, but when I do I turn to an LSU football message board for answers

Are you waiting for someone to ask what happened and offer thoughts and prayers?

Pull towards hand with the grain. Don’t rip against.

a scalpel.
You need a scalpel to get it off. Ask a surgeon for one. After removing the bandage, make sure you use the scalpel on your throat

Burn it off with acid.

Is the IV bandage a thin clear sheet type of bandage? If so, it is probably Tegaderm. This type of bandage releases when stretched. Get one of the corners up off your skin then pull horizontal with the bandage as it stretches it will lift. Will have to do it multiple times to get the whole thing off.
