Not to be “that guy”, but I know a hell of a lot about cigars, more than most. The Aladino reserva is one of the best cigars to come out in the last 5yrs. I actually got my hands on one a good 3 months before the release and quite the lesson on how it came about.
When davidoff bought Camacho, the old man held on to the seed and leaf from the Camacho triple maduro (another Amazing cigar that Davidoff absolutely ruined). When the non-compete clause ran out, the old man went to work and made the Reserva.
If you want to try the latest and greatest, another cigar punching way out of its weight class, try the Upmann AJ Fernandez Toro. My top 3 cigars right now are the Upmann AJ Fernandez, the Reaerva, and the Fuente Queen B, with the new Espada nipping at their heels. Pick up those sticks and you will be pleased.
