re: I need a translation of the LSU statement on game day behavior

a big reason for this is the fact that the homecoming game (Mississippi State) was an 11 AM kickoff. The game was over by 2:30 and most normal fans left and went home. However, there was a certain group who was using LSU campus as a party venue. The early kickoff meant that the campus should be cleared out and back to normal well before dark that day. The party-goers weren't ready to go home. The authorities decided it was time for them to go home.

I think this brought into light that there are people using the campus on gamedays as a venue for block parties. It probably flies under the radar when it's a night game.
