This. You can know which player is owned by how many people all you want but you still have to correctly predict the future outcome of your players
I still don't think it's a major scandal mainly since he knew percentages on a different site. But again, it's a big advantage.

The point was for the "well it's not an advantage, because your players have to hit" crowd. It doesn't affect the insider's edge. Of course you have to "hit" to score big, doesn't affect the edge that they are gaining over the rest of the player pool, and after a number of coin flips they are gaining a massive edge.
