Those souls missed out on a fun childhood. I was around 10 or 12 when it came out. My friends and I didn't sit on video games as they weren't as prevalent then. Our asses were outside in the woods building forts. We were the real life Goonies. Hell yeah I would go search for treasure at that age. Kids today don't have a clue on what they are missing. We took our dad's hammer and nails and found scrap wood and built tree houses for fun and loved it.

Exactly how I grew up...hell you and I may be brothers or cousins!
And then when the first generation Nintendo came out, my parents bought one for Christmas and it was like freaking magic!
However, we never forgot our roots, we continued to play outside and build forts, and we only played Nintendo on rainy days or during sleepovers.
