I actually am. Like several others in the medical and science community that just so happen to post here...I'm just tired of all the stupidity that's been on this board the past several months.

Literally the exact same symptoms i had. And i've never had a sinus infection before in my life. Not saying it couldn't have been one, but considering the virus being around at that time, the coincidences are getting slim.

Why should I get the vaccine? If my having had Covid is only good for three months how does the vaccine protect me longer than that? Do I have to get the vaccine every 3 months? If I had no complications from actually getting Covid, then why subject myself to the possible complications, though rare, of getting the vaccine?

I am not anti vaccination, I have been vaccinated for other illness and my child is fully vaccinated.

Most people call you rational. Some on here, thing you should be punished for not doing what you're told.

K, are you an infectious disease expert? What about my post is incorrect? I'm willing to listen.

Well i'm sure insulting someone because you disagree with them is a good way to solve your problems.

Again, reading comprehension. You seem to fail at this many times. Last page ought to help you out.

I'm reading that you had symptoms similar to a cold, sinus infection, possibly the flu, or COVID

statistically speaking, it is far more likely you had a simple cold or sinus infection

but you seem adamant that you had COVID, despite the odds being extremely low

no....my reading comprehension is just fine

This ain't a fricking medical journal. It's a message board where people insult others all the time. Have you seen the echo chamber of crazy that is the Election Board??? Holy frick you say you voted for Biden and you are called a communist there. So that's ok to you?

Sorry I made you cry with my post, but get over it and quit acting like a titty baby about it.

No but my boss actually is. She is an infectious disease physician and dictates and develops all the infection control protocols at my hospital. As an infection control nurse working under her....I follow her protocols. And she has the exact same complaints and annoyance with people like you.

Well, the reason i rule out either of these are

1) Ive had the simple cold. It was not the cold. Unless it was a cold unlike one i've ever had before.
2) Could be a sinus infection. But i'm 38 and never had one in my entire life. So yes it is possible. I think with the timing though, that it could have also been the Rona.

Well unless i get tested, i guess we'll never know. I'm assuming with me never having to shut down or be restricted, and simply going about my life, i would have contracted it by now. However, if i do have immunities already, then that too makes sense. Or maybe i'm just lucky. Who Knows.

I wouldn't use the word "adamant" but i'm pretty sure that i had it, just based on the symptoms stated by the CDC, and others that i know that have had it, and how my symptoms were pretty much identical. Now, if a sinus infection or the cold has the identical symptoms to Covid, then i guess it's a true toss up. Then that says something about the virus as a whole, which isn't the point of this particular post.

And who are "People like me"? You are making a shite load of assumptions and are clearly emotional. So take a moment, and explain who i am, and people like me. And what i said specifically you disagree with.

again

0.06% of the population has tested positive for COVID

why would anyone assume this?

No, it isn’t. Last I checked, people have never died from a common cold.

I’m not scared of COVID but these overly dismissive posts are just as bad as the fearmongering posts.
