I sell medical devices implanted in the cardiology cath lab and cardiologists and nurses refer to patients who have "Smoker" listed on their patient charts as having "flunked the intelligence test". Many people are having angioplasties and stents deployed as a result of being habitual smokers. People who are educated and know the dangers of smoking yet smoke anyway are fools. And no, no smoker has ever looked cool doing so. As a matter of fact, I think men that smoke look feminine.

When I worked in a convenience store, I couldn't begin to count the doctors/nurses who stopped by on the way to/from work for coffee and cigarettes.
