I’ve been working about 2 days/week in office for required stuff. I usually have an hour commute but lately is 40 minutes.

I’ll miss the easy drive but also expect to appreciate the traffic and other minor inconveniences of normal life in a different way.

Honestly I'll kind of miss all of the people outdoors on the weekend. I take my kid for a stroll and he waves at everyone and loves it. Our neighbors are outside when we go outside and we chat, my kid goes play with their dog. We didn't even know our neighbor's name and we've lived in this house for 4 years.

I agree. We have been doing a lot of driveway socializing lately. Especially since we are sitting on chairs in our driveway drinking.

The COVID traffic is great, no complaints. Living in the PNW, the traffic is historically horrid everywhere between Seattle and Olympia. I'm only going in a few days and teleworking the rest.
