Sounds like he has an addictive personality. I know someone like this and I am pretty sure it was inherited in his case. It took awhile. Went to rehab multiple times. The last one he went to was out of state and was evidently "one of the better rehabs". For months they work on the addiction part then they pretty much teach you how to keep busy so that you don't give yourself the opportunity to relapse. They have temporary jobs they work and its about.. from what I gathered.. is.. the best way to say it is.. getting you addicted to a schedule. Wake up, go to you job, get involved in things to keep you busy when work is over and on the weekends.
All I know is that it is in North Carolina. But I hope he can get help.

And those damned restaurants... always open and offering food when we can survive off 1/10th of what we actually consume... how dare they try to profit off peoples gluttony.

Went to Mohican Sun this weekend with brother and sister in-law. Saw a couple of shows, got free drinks and did some bowling and pool along with visiting a couple of good restaurants.
The only gambling I do is sitting at the bar where I can make $20 of video poker last a couple hours while getting way more than that in free drinks.
The worst thing that can happen if for someone to win big and then go back for more. That and free drinks.
The more you play in a casino, they more your lose.
