I don't understand the love of cats, they are detrimental to the environment when left to roam outside. If you want a pet cat, fine, keep it indoors. If you must take it outside keep it on your property... don't know how, not my problem, maybe don't let it outside if you can't control it.
If you catch an invasive fish you are suppose to kill it. Invasive pig, shoot it.
Invasive nutria, cut off its tail.
Invasive cat.. feed it and let it live out its life destroying native populations and running all over peoples property.

Nearly every litter of kittens I heard kids mention in our neighborhood disappeared in a few days. Seems the norm was to tie them up in a sack with a brick or two and then toss them in a pond on the nature or in Old Man River. I asked my dad one day about hearing that and he said that either the family eats or the cats eat. Easy decision for most. Sad but true.
