I don’t understand performers and lip syncing.

Who are they kidding with the whole lip sync schtick? Everyone knows you ain’t singing while up there dancing around like a chicken with its head cut off. I don’t even understand why they bother. Just get up there and dance around if that’s what you want your “concert” to be. I don’t get it.

It's more about giving a live television performance that isn't derailed by technical issues.
