What the hell are they always working on?

I just don't think they ever finish. Like ever. I have been making the back and forth from H-town into LA since I moved here in 1995 and I don't think I have ever not seen construction between Orange and the LA state line.

It's been a permanently ongoing repair during my lifetime. They must have built that section of I-10 on quicksand.

I’m 65yers old, from traveling that area as a kid with my parents in the early 1960s to the present, there has never been a time where there was not road construction somewhere from the LA/TX line to Houston.

It's been going on for so long near Orange there are trees and bushes growing in the median. I'll be heading that way again next week and that's the nastiest piece of I-10 between Houston and BR. I never actually see anyone working on that stretch of road. It's like they tore it up and it turned into Chernobyl.

I don't understand-TX DOT can 10-lane I-45 in 2 years and this shite has been going on for decades..

A couple of generations have retired working on I10 between the state line and Beaumont. I live in SW LA and I don't remember any time there was not major construction on it.
