You saint francisville and coupee people are kind of arse holes.
Pot meet kettle. You talk shite about an area when you apparently know nothing about it. Ever occurred to you that these little quaint, quiet towns are that way cause they aren’t selling off the land for master planned communities and that maybe the people living there do so cause they don’t want what BR offers?
You bitch about lack of or stifling of development, but some BR citizens are trying to form their own “little” town of St. George as a result of “development” in BR. We don’t have the kind of shite you’re dealing with in BR- good or bad- and some of us are good with that. Leave us and our land alone.

Clearly this topic is a soft spot for you. You definitely have talked about this before or else you wouldn’t have had your response ready like that.
Sorry I offended you and your people for wanting the BR metro to improve to 2019 standards. Hmm, I wonder why so many people leave LOUISIANA every year for greener pastures.

don’t know why you people are so against a place growing for the better? You want things to just stay fricked up and shitty forever?
Yep, things are so great in EBR, growth has been so positive that they’re trying to form St. George or fleeing to other parishes
They don’t plan accordingly here. Some of us have learned that as we were raised here. That’s why it’s shitty.
So even if we embrace progress or “growing for the better”, experience has taught us that it likely won’t happen. So we prefer to keep things as they are. It may not be great, but it ain’t more fricked up.
Speaking of fricked up, why are you still here? Seems like all you do is bitch about the area and how much better everywhere else is. GTFO if it’s so bad. You’re not doing anything constructive or helping.

Clearly, calling out your community has rattled your cage.
You need to chill the frick out. Nobody is gonna come take your good ole boy hometown away from you. You’re so damn butthurt. It’s funny how mad you got and how quickly it escalated. Just from me saying how land owners are ruining any progress. Hahahaha cry baby

Work on BR, then come see me. YOU want these small towns to be what YOU want them to be. You’re not considering that the people who live in these areas are good with what they’ve got. Backwards and as awful as YOU think they are, the locals seem to like them. As for greener pastures, go to em. Again, you’re still here. If it sucks so much, MOVE. Quit trying to make SFV or NR something They aren’t nor want to be.
And quit telling me it’s my fault you’re sitting in traffic cause I won’t sell my land to you That’s your problem not mine. I don’t sit in traffic cause I live in the sticks. That’s the trade for living on the edges. No metro sophistication or any of the headaches that come with it.

Dude you’ve been bitching about this place since you got here. You’ve whined and cried damn near every day about how this place isn’t what you think it should be. Leave. If I bitched about a place as incessantly as you do, I’d be gone the next morning. Move if you hate it so much or accept it for what it is.
But quit bitching about it.

That's exactly what they did to Covington and Mandeville. The Northshore used to be a nice rural area. Now it's one giant sprawling suburb. There's the future of WBR and PC if they let the developers poke their nose under the tent.

The North Shore is the best place to live in the entire state what do you mean it used to be a nice area? It still is a nice area. Just because they get new things doesn’t make it a giant sprawling suburb.
If you like rural, live in north Louisiana. Baton Rouge and New Orleans are the only two major cities in the whole state and deserve better suburbs than what they have. Nothing wrong with suburbs and new developments.

Louisiana was late to the burb game. A lot of it was due to the school system being largely segregated until the 90s. South BR was basically the suburbs back then. There wasn't much in the northshore or LP, Central, Zachary AP either.

But you’re not happy! If you want to be happy move somewhere that offers you a better traffic grid and nicer burbs. The people already living in these small towns like it as is. That’s why they live there. And they are happy. You’re the one pissed cause you live in an unsophisticated urban area. But the residents apparently like it. So move. Go live in DFW or Chicago. They have all the urban sophistication you can stand.
Leave the hicks to their hickish ways. Quit trying to change them to suit you.

Whether you're happy or not makes no difference to me one way or another. Just dont expect me to uproot my way of life to cater to your whims.

Eminent domain can still be used to build a loop in Louisiana. That constitutional amendment was in response to the Kelo ruling at SCOTUS. Doesn’t affect road construction.

Nobody is coming in to take your house and hunting land. The land I was referring to is the wide open pastures with big for sale signs in them. I don’t see how selling land that is just sitting there not being used effects “your way of life”
