Is the food even good at this place?
I've eaten there for breakfast a couple of times and enjoyed it.

Petrescu usually the bill would have included the name of the purchaser or the table number. However the cashier took it upon himself not to use the purchaser's name but the word ni**er because she is black. It angers me because New Orleans is by far a predominantly occupied by black. That how it earned the name chocolate city.

The woman who was the target of a racial slur printed on a receipt from a French Quarter restaurant spoke Friday about the incident along with her lawyer, who said they are considering filing a lawsuit.
"I've never been through anything like this," Liryca Neville said the day after getting the receipt following a meal at the restaurant. "I'm not OK. I thought I was, but I'm not."
Neville, daughter of musician and Neville Brothers member Cyril Neville, said that she was unable to sleep and "I literally had a breakdown at work."
Her lawyer, Morris Reed Jr., said Neville has been embarrassed and distressed. "She's been humiliated in front of her friends."
"Racism is still alive. It's still present," Reed said. "Even with the people who are serving your food."
