Ok. I think a reasonable person would recognize that a 6 year old may not be capable of managing a medical issue that can be onset quickly via flashing lights.

I don't know what point you're trying to make but doubling down on stupidity probably won't get you there.

OP should post his own name as well. So should you.

No, the OP should post the name of the cop and the town so that the cop can be rightfully criticized.

Could mom have not said sweetie cover your eyes instead of making a sudden movement on a dark street while being pulled over? Is that really too much to ask?

The cop should have arrested her for causing him such agony.

So I'll just assume since you're dodging answering my question you agree but don't want to admit it.

If you go read my and most others posts, it was the action of the cop after the incident that draws criticism.

I think the cop acted reasonably up to that point.

You are really falling behind in this conversation. Try to keep up.

6 years olds are so prone to actually listening to their parents.

So every excuse in the world for why a 6 year old can't simply cover her eyes, but no consideration for the cop.

Bravo OT.

he had it, hence why he protected himself from the unknown possible threat? Do you really not see how your only argument is hindsight?

Is it such a stretch to think a parent should be able to tell their 6 year old to cover their eyes with a known medical condition?

It's laughably stupid to suggest that a 6 year old should definitely be capable of covering their eyes to prevent the onset of an epileptic seizure...and that the parents should have relied on the 6 year old rather than intervening themselves.

Is the girl special needs? Otherwise, I'm really failing to see how cover your eyes is too complicated a command.

this. you can't assume that he knows what is going on in the vehicle. I mean....I doubt he knew that your daughter was having a seizure. they want to go home alive too. remember that.
