I walk 4 or 5 miles through my 'hood most days. I scan the streets for objects. Have found a few coins. One penny has been on the street for a couple of weeks. Nobody wants it.
I find nails and screws almost weekly, especially near roofing jobs or remodels. Pick them up and throw in the storm sewer. See quite a few AA batteries too.

Excellent point. Not only is the quality of prescription narcotics guaranteed, but the transaction process is not as--shall we say, "unpredictable"--as some dope deals.
Coincidentally, as I write this I am cruising on a combination of vicodin and soma I purchased at my local pharmacy a few days ago.
Anyway, here's to finding money--and why the hell not--finding big, full, unopened bottles of dope to boot.
