re: How many people have died from Omicron (argument with my cardiologist)

Most of the board and country doesn’t disagree with me and polls continue to show that with increasing numbers. The doctor was wrong or was exaggerating. He’s just not a great doctor. There’s plenty of them out there. Feel free to refute anything I said in that last post. Doctors themselves are completely split on this Covid issue

I’m slightly concerned, as I should be with this undiagnosed condition
You don't even know what the :"condition". Hell, the fact it's "undiagnosed" could mean there isn't a "condition".
You are grasping for any reason to avoid going against what your beliefs are, even though they have more evidence pointing towards them being wrong than right.
If you don't want the shot, then don't get it. And deal with the consequences of that action.
But quit trying to get confirmation for those beliefs. Because you are not in the majority, no matter how much you may believe you are.
But to sit here and claim you don't want the shot because it has "caused" a health problem in 136 people out of 5 million that the virus has also caused at a greater ratio tells everyone why you really don't want to get it.
And then to sit there earlier and post about Trump being right...Trump is the one who pushed the vaccines through without established criteria being met.
Hell, you and everyone else on this board who rail against the vaccines were the same ones championing Trump for pushing it through, then raging at Biden for "taking all the credit for the vaccine".
Y'all were the ones who were yelling from the rooftops that the vaccines were the route to go in order to defeat this virus.
Your stance is not based in scientific belief. It's based in political belief.
Just own up to it.

I don't have to go to the last post.
You refute yourself in this post.

Then go on to post this two lines later:
quote:
Doctors themselves are completely split on this Covid issue
So Doctors are split on the issue, but this one is wrong because you disagree with him.
Isn't there just as good a chance that the ones you agree with are wrong?

I’m not against getting a booster. Stop making shite up. I’m double vaxxed as well, so again, stop projecting your bull shite
You whole post is lumping me into a group that has nothing to do with me specifically. I am against mandates.

Having a resting HR ranging 100-130 is a ducking condition. That is not even close to normal

Could be normal for you.

Your original post was about how you want another doctor because the one you have does not agree with you that getting the booster is more dangerous than not getting it.
If you aren't against getting a booster, then what the frick are you even doing here?

He’s wrong because he denied that vaccines have caused cardiac problems for some people. He’s wrong in saying that omicron is mass killing people. You don’t have to be a doctor to understand this. I can’t continue to work with a doctor who believes this nonsense

Your reading comprehension sucks.

My original question was how many people have died from omicron. I’m here to hopefully get some crowdsourced information, not patronizing lunatic shot nazis. I ran into a shitty doctor. It happens

So look, I'm not a doctor, but it seems like what you're looking for right now is not a doctor, so I have a suggestion for you. If you can, try not worrying all the time about everyone being out to take advantage of you. Most people are just out there doing the best that they can.
There are ways to address corruption in medicine, but something tells me these cures would only push your heart rate higher. You seem like the type that if there's one thing that scares you more than corrupt capitalism, it's a dab of socialism.

He’s wrong because he denied that vaccines have caused cardiac problems for some people.
quote:Even though the omicron death rate appears to be low, it is still a lot compared to adverse reactions to the vaccines. As a layman doing his own research, your perspective is likely quite a bit different than that of someone who works in health care every day.
He’s wrong in saying that omicron is mass killing people.

quote:As one example, the myocarditis propaganda that you've fallen for.
What propaganda?
What, exactly, happened to your boss, and do you think his outcome would have been better or worse had he not been vaccinated?

Edit: Also,
Danny Altmann, a professor of immunology at Imperial College London (here), told Reuters that there are “very large, peer-reviewed studies” which show “the overwhelming statistical case is that myocarditis, pericarditis, blood clots, strokes or heart attacks and death is massively skewed to those who are unvaccinated and become infected.”
So, instead of linking any number of "very large, peer-reviewed" studies, you link an article that quotes someone.
Very few studies are Omicron specific. That's the only thing that matters. That you didn't even consider this and went straight to the appeal to authority is extremely telling.

Where do you think the cardiologist gets his information? Facebook?
Honestly, he gets his information through filtered sources.
