Dents are my only stickers.

When I see any of those in Houston, I instantly think poor Louisiana white trash for some reason.

What is the point of this thread?

I only read the first page of this thread, so this may have been discussed. I have no stickers on my car, but I do have an LSU license plate.
As an alum I feel this is not trashy. What say the OT?

I have an LSU Mississippi license plate to try to distance myself from the landmassers in anyway possible.

You didn't go for the Elvis plate? The wife has a MS Blues trail that;s pretty cool as well.

This may sound absolutely awful and cheesy, but since I am in Texas I really enjoy seeing those as well as any LSU/Louisiana-related stickers, logos, etc. on cars during my commute. Something to remind me of home while I sit in stop and go traffic is a welcome distraction while I go 5 mph on the freeway!

trademark infringement was first thing that popped into my mind

This. I have one on my truck. Just a white outline one. Getting gas and a guy walked up with his Brees jersey asking where I was watching the game. Invited him to our group watch party. Good fishing friend now.

This for me too while inching along at 2 mph on the Loop. I am mostly viewed as a no-good, c*ck sucking traiter to most of my LA friends, but I still like to see LA related stuff during the commute.

The point was to belittle people who could not give a French history lesson while explaining why the symbol was important enough for them to put on their vehicle. The OP wanted you to identify you first and foremost and then lambast you for displaying a symbol that he feels you shouldn't unless you can write a dissertation on the subject. He was then going to show off his Frenchiness by educating you but only after seeing your head fall at his guillotine of knowledge first. He could of just titled the thread "History and Meaning of Fleur de Lis" but it wouldn't have been as fun to him.
