Are you saying you have a problem with people parking in the driveway? That is next level.

I have not had any neighbors in near 10 years.

My private drive from the county line section road is over a 1/4 mile. You can't see my house or any of my buildings from the road. Sometimes I leave my 4 wheeler right off the side of my porch for convenience.

I don't know you baws live when you have people right on both sides of you.

My neighbor is having some trees cut in their backyard. The tree people setup their crane and dump trucks on either side of the road and I had to wait for someone to drive by before I could go.

My driveway, my vehicle, I’ll park in my driveway anytime I want. What do you stupid frickers do when you have people over to your house for a party or a family gathering? Where are all those cars supposed to park?

That’s fine, and it’s why you wouldn’t be suited to live in my neighborhood, and I wouldn’t want someone like you as my neighbor. Different strokes. We don’t like the look of cars PERPETUALLY being parked outside the garage, so we sought out a neighborhood and neighbors that agree with that idea. Parties and guests are perfectly fine to park in the street. We’re currently having a bathroom remodeled and there are vehicles in the street in front of my house right now. Perfectly fine. Why are you bothered by my neighborhood’s covenants?

We moved from a neighborhood that did that. The garages were full of plastic toys and the driveways would have 3 cars in them so there were a lot parked on the street.

My chief complaint was that little kidlets would let a ball roll onto the street and they would dash out from between two cars and risk being hit by someone coming down the street.

In my current neighborhood, there's one pickup that insists on parking under the shade of an oak tree during the day. I'm guessing it belongs to a car pooler. At an HOA meeting, I found out it could not be prevented due to the parish owning the street.
