I've got a pair of Tony Lama's that I've had for about 15 years. I wear them about once a week. They still have the original soul and heel.

I've got an old pair of Timberland waffle stompers that refuse to wear out, had them for 22 years

I worked in a paper mill for 20 years. I was lucky to get one year out of a pair of steel toes no matter what brand. Wet environments and chemicals just kill boots.

Out in the field I agree - But when I took them offshore they didn't even last a Summer.

I have a pair of Tony Lama Lizard skin boots that are 40 years old. Still look great. I don't wear as much as I used too though.

I get about a year out of work boots and infinite time out of dress boots.

My paddock boots don't last very long. I condition and clean them but I'm lucky if they make it a year...

A good cowboy boot should last you a good chunk of your life, just have to resole them. My oldest pair is around ten years but I am younger and usually only wear my boots during winter or dress occasions.

Damn, mine are 3 and are okay but no way they last that long. The sole will wear too much but I wear them everyday.

I've got a pair of red wings that have bleach splatter, dirt, and who knows what on them. They're still rock solid and comfortable. Had them for several years
