re: How long do you wait for someone at a resturaunt before leaving?

Ok. If y'all really are curious what went down;

I arrived at the restaurant at 10:26. The restaurant was located in a neighborhood that was throwing an art festival. I was going to meet family member and their significant other for brunch and then we were going to go wander around said art festival for awhile

I get sat almost immediately by the hostess. I inform her there would be 3 of us but the other two aren't there yet. She seats me at a table that can indeed sit 6.

I call family member at 10:31. I get no answer.

I sit there bored and people watch. Order a whiskey and Coke.

~10:34 I begin to worry. These people don't show up late often. The restaurant, due to art festival, is filling up. I start getting looks from random people at the restaurant for why I'm holding one of the best seats in house for myself. I start tiger dropping thread to amuse myself.

10:38 Call significant other of family member. No answer. Restaurant is packed.

Over the next 12 minutes, i try calling twice more. Still no answer.

10:50- family member and family members significant member show up on bicycles outside the restaurant. They never heard me calling as both cell phones were in purse on bike. They both tell me they have swamp arse and I am grossed out and I think they don't know what that means. This being only the second day this year in the 90s.

We share a pizza, split the bill, go to a crappy art festival and then go to an amazing art festival. Back home by 1:30 for nap.
