If you have that view, all the other stuff will show up.

Then it will evaporate pretty quick.

Writing and playing for me. More time for open mics and playing out.

I love that too, I hate chasing connections down though, and trying to book shite.

I have a small gig tomorrow night, first I have done in a long time.

If I have a great shop though, I think I might flip the dynamic of the whole thing.

I just retired and enjoy firearms and archery and still ride a dirt bike. I read and check out the news each morning then work on some small house and yard projects. I have in laws nearby and see them often. After this year of catching up on some neglected items I may get the old FFL and do some transfers for the locals here. I also do volunteer work for the local High School Athletics Program.
Plans are to visit relatives and a son in Sacramento and one in Houston and to catch some LSU sports here and there. I may do some gun smithing one day to do something more interesting...

Enjoy.

Come to think of it, maybe I'll go out to the local park and play.

If I ever retire, I see a lot of my time taken up with music, and I can't think of a better way to spend my declining years.

Not likely that I will reach that but should I do, a bit of fishing and hunting. Would love to spoil some grand children if possible. B

My last day at work was today. I am retiring at a pretty young age. I am gonna spend my time building stuff in my shop and selling it and spending time with the family.

I am going to have a cabin around Asheville NC and a lakehouse at Lake Bruin in Tensas LA. I will spend summer and fall in NC, hiking and guiding a few perennial customers on fly fishing trips. Winter and spring I will hunt ducks in the Mississippi River and catch the sacalait spawn in the oxbows

I'm looking forward to the simple things that I miss desperately. The beach with a good book, photography, fishing in the middle of the week, staying up late and sleeping in.

I used to think I'd quit early, sail the south pacific, ski around the world, do this, do that, I like what I do, have time for most of that as it is, as I'm getting closer to retirement age the less I want to retire

I'm sure my wife will keep me busy with house projects. Some volunteer work, more fishing and maybe one more project car with grandson.

All begins about this time next year. Can't wait.

Already been planning to buy a 3/4 ton truck, 5th wheel, and travel.

I want to enjoy life after I've busted my arse for it. Once the kids are out of high school, me and the wife are gone.

I plan on seeing a game in every big time college football stadium.

Lots of great stuff to see and experience in This Great Country.

Even the stuff that is not so attractive, I am at least glad I have seen, smelled, felt a lot of it in person.
