Don't do it. Apparently if the kid has a history of being a criminal, maybe he may need to feel the consequences of his actions for once. It happened to my aunt and uncle. Their daughter developed a habit started getting in some bad shite, wouldn't listen, and wouldn't accept anything. So when she got arrested and was facing consequences they almost put up the house that they just finished paying for to get her out and get a lawyer. My cousin didn't want to accept their terms so my aunt let her face the consequences. She spent 2 years in prison and turned her life completely around. She has been clean for over 10 years, was able to get training and has a good job, she is married with 2 children now. In this deal if you put up the money than you are not getting paid back, and if the kid gets off than he will be in the same position in 2-3 years. My cousin has said it was the best thing that could have been done for her at the time.

Priors and now two felonies all prior to being 18 years old…. I wouidht give a dime. Limited knowledge but seems he has no reason to behave as others will continue to bail him out whenever he does wrong.
