My faith is what gives me strength for the difficult times. I really don't understand people who can go through life without belief in a higher power. I don't know that I would bother coping if none of this mattered anyway. Not saying you should give up, but I hope you find faith in somethi g other than yourself at some point. It's a dark and lonely road on your own.

I have accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior and I believe he died on the cross so my sins could be forgiven and that I could have eternal life. I know I will be in heaven with Christ when my days on earth are through. Unfortunately there are many people who only choose to believe in Jesus as an insurance plan to get into heaven. I think folks carry on about heaven to much,like it's some kinda all you can eat buffet up in the clouds and folks just do what they're told so they can eat what they want behind some big Pearly Gates. There's sin in my heart and there's evil in the world, but when I have no one I talk to God and I ask for strength. I ask for forgiveness, not peace at the end of my days when I've got no more life to live or good to do, but today, right now. Heaven isn't the winners podium at the end of a race we run. Pray for Guidance and assistance now, in the present, not just for favor in the future.

I believe in the power and beauty of the natural world and the relationships I had and have. I will never bash someone for their faith, but honestly the church never did anything for me personally.
