False. For at least 90% of fully vaccinated people it means you wont get a real infection. You just immediately clear it.

But you can still test positive for it. It’s semantics either way. The point is a fully vaccinated person can test positive for COVID post vaccine and just be asymptomatic.

That can’t be right, that would mean vaccinated people could still pass on the virus to others. If that’s the case, why would a person under 40 get vaccinated? They were already extremely likely to have few or no symptoms. How does the vaccine change anything for them?

When you’re symptomatic, you spread the virus at a higher rate because you’re coughing, sneezing, etc. and have a higher viral load.

When you’re asymptomatic your viral load is very load. And makes it much harder to spread.

When you have lots of people get vaccinated, it significantly reduces spread and begins eliminating viable hosts for more severe disease.

It’s the same mechanism as the Polio vaccine.

we haven't been through this enough?

Maybe, but I’ve tried stay away from these vaccine pissing contest threads. Not sure why I clicked this one.

the vaccine lessens the viral load in the body, thus, greatly reduces transmission as well as the severity of the virus

Well, that’s good. Seems like if you don’t have comorbidities, having symptoms would almost be better, though, so you know to stay home. What do I know, I don’t really get sick, so I’m no expert on the subject.
