How deep is a standard mailbox?

I'm suppose to be getting a new mower blade in the mail. I thought it would be delivered to my door but it could be sitting in the mailbox if it fits.

There are three standard sizes and two styles of mailboxes:
STYLE / SIZE LENGTH WIDTH HEIGHT
T1 and C1 18 1/2" 5" 6"
T2 and C2 19 1/2" 6" 7"
T3 and C3 22 1/2" 8" 11 1/2"

You've never seen your own mailbox before? I mean frick. Just picture the mower blade and then picture it inside of a box. And then picture whether or not that box would fit inside of your mailbox which I'm sure you've looked at before

I'm amazed at the questions asked on this forum. If it doesn't fit they will either knock on the door and hand it to you, leave it on your front porch, or leave a card in the box letting you know to come pick up your item from the post office.

My mailbox is next to my neighbors box and I'd rather not run into them if they happen to be checking their mail too. Don't feel like being friendly today at all.

Most delivery services will go ahead & put it on if you just leave your mower by the mailbox, upside-down.
