Given how much heavy snow has fallen in the Mississippi and Ohio River watersheds....

IIRC, they haven't dredged the Mississippi River channel south of the Morganza floodway (around New Roads/St. Francisville) since they opened the flood gates in 2011. It's still more silted up than usual there.

Do you guys think this will be another event that requires Bonne Carre opening? Or even the Morganza structure opening?

There hasn't been that much snow in the Midwest.

It won't be a problem as long as you're wearing your mask.

Snow isn't as big of an impact as rainfall in the Ohio River valley is. Only a tiny fraction of the water in the lower Mississippi came from the Mississippi River north of Cairo. It's all coming down the Ohio.

Think about what it’ll do to crawfish prices. Yikes.
