For my fellow Houstonians, I hope you are all safe and sound and able to get some water.
Rumor has it that a contractor genius somehow managed to dig and damage a 96" watermain line that supplies nearly 50% of the cities water.

dumb....they'll isolate the break and open interconnects to other utilities, some may be without water for an hour or so.

According to HCSO, it will 6 to 8 hours for the pipe to drain (TWSS). And then boil for at least 24hrs.
