That being said, did the date and time of this game catch them off guard? was this game not set almost a year in advance? who failed to get the reservations?

I work(ed) in the O&G industry and visited Houston fairly often. I never found it to be great, or even good. It was palatable but no more or less so than thousands of other metropolitan areas.

Opposite. I love NOLA but the thought of living there is scary as hell. Texas is light years ahead of LA. Is what it is.
Besides, comparing the 4th largest city in the US to a small cultural city is apples to oranges.
