Moving to Houston and looking to move my boat to either Lake Conroe or Clear Lake. I don't have any experience with boating on either lake. Which one of these lakes has the better summer party scene for 25-40 year olds?

Haven't even considered that. Are there nice marinas with slips for rent? Bars and restaurants? Hotels? Big events?

Move it to a close storage that way you can launch it at either Lake Houston, Livingston, Conroe.

Clear Lake should not be on your list.

Sam Rayburn isn't bad, but it's a bit of a drive

Lance's Turtle Club on Clear Lake was a pretty good spot back when I lived down that way.

I just associate Clear Lake with retirees and families, but I'm sure there are spots I don't know.
