My sons go camping every year in Vicksburg with their Boy Scout troop.
Now I know why they are always so excited to go.

Did a long weekend combo of Natchez and Vicksburg.
wish we'd stayed in Natchez the whole trip. Much more fun.
Vicksburg is Bogalusa on a river with a crap casino.
Nothing but drunk poors hanging at the liquor store and the whites hanging al the small downtown strip area and the one rooftop restaurant in town.
Vicksburg is truly a sad place to visit.

Definitely check out the park. I ate at this rooftop place on my last visit. It was decent.
