This is consistent with what I've heard. But what percentage of the 25 - 35 generac generators you referenced were liquid cooled. I've been told that the liquid cooled generacs are a different animal, build and quality wise, from the air cooled units. Thoughts?
As to the 38, I agree that I don't need a 38. But I have electric heat on one unit, an electric dryer, and I went for a week without power during the last major ice storm in early 2021. Also, I live in a neighborhood where setoff is an issue. Given that the footprint for most of Generac's units (and I believe Kohler) in the 30/32/38 range of liquid cools are the same and installation is the same price, an extra few grand of unit cost gets a bigger unit. And I'm generally of the opinion that a machine will work longer at 1/4 or 1/2 load than it will at 5/8 or 3/4 load.
Not looking to argue, but would really appreciate any input. Thanks for what everyone has shared so far.
