Holed up in a BR hotel...

Took in a game at the Box and ate at Chimes. Tomorrow, do I say screw it and head west back home or go to NO for some random sightseeing and a taste of the Quarter and extend my trip by a day?

That did cross my mind. I’m sure the sanitation practices of the fine workers and other people downtown will prevent any spread.

It is possible as there have been reports of many in various parts of that world that have had it and only had mild symptoms.

I tend to think along the lines of your post in the main thread. The shite didn’t just show up last week. It’s been here, but nobody panicked because the media hadn’t told them to yet. The virus has been making rounds and healthy individuals pass it off as a mild sickness.

Two nights ago I wasn’t worried at all about this mini road trip. The media has driven fear, no doubt. It could be justified. It’s not that I’m super worried about getting sick. I’m just thinking getting home a day earlier may help me get prepared for an inevitable shut down of sorts. The panic of others screws over everyone else.
