Ok. Times up. The ship is the RMS Carpathia. She became famous for being the ship that answered the SOS from the doomed RMS Titanic. She pulled the Titanic survivors out of the water and took them to New York.
Here's a picture of her going down after being torpedoed by a German U-Boat in July 1918.
