What is this structure and purpose?

Thanks for that bit. That second one is right there but I just can't remember what it was.

Submarine pens. Built to protect German Uboats.

I watched a special on that facility. We dropped a "earthquake bomb" with a direct hit from 6k feet and it was no match for their 13 ft+ thick cement roof

Werner von Braun
He is the reason that Neil Armstrong walked on the moon. I always wondered what would have happened if the Russians had captured him.

That's the Brooklyn Bridge today. It was the lead headline that someone has removed the American flags and replaced them with white flags.

From the story I read they don't know who replaced the American flags with the white ones.

Yes. The Canadians took it without a fight.

Perhaps we sold it to them.

Most people don't know we had a Nazi leading the way for our NASA program for years. He went from building ballistic missiles intended to kill Americans and allied forces to receiving the NASA lifetime achievement award and is also in our national aviation hall of fame

From what I understand, he wasn't a true nazi in the sense of the word.

Technically he was a Nazi but it was in name only. He joined the party so that he could continue his work with rocketry at Peenemunde.

What are these. Should be pretty easy.

Figures. We've invaded them twice (three if you count the civil war incursion).
Gotta figure they'd go for payback at some point.

The Civic Center in Huntsville, AL is named after him.
