Most women in the south are fat, ugly, and look like men. I would put college aged women in the south up against those from anywhere and the south would probably win. But even those hot college chicks turn homely by their early thirties usually. Fitness and staying in shape is not seen as something that's important for many of them.

This. There are boutique gyms/spin studios on almost every corner of Manhattan. All day these places are full of women dropping $30-$40 per class to keep up their appearance.
