Farming 6% of the continental U.S. acreage with biomass crops would provide all of America's energy needs.
Hemp is Earth's number-one biomass resource; it is capable of producing 10 tons per acre in four months.

Hemp seed can be pressed into a nutritious oil, which contains the highest amount of fatty acids in the plant kingdom. Essential oils are responsible for our immune system responses, and clear the arteries of cholesterol and plaque.

One acre of hemp can produce as much usable fiber as 4 acres of trees or two acres
of cotton.

Hemp is softer, warmer, more water absorbent, has three times the tensile strength, and is many times more durable than cotton

Almost any product that can be made from wood, cotton, or petroleum (including plastics) can be made from hemp. There are more than 25,000 known uses for hemp.

While marijuana plants contain high levels of THC, hemp contains very little of the psychoactive chemical. This single difference is what most rely on to distinguish hemp from marijuana.

I watched a special on this the other day and it's really surprising that were not farming hemp in the US. Agricultural hemp has almost zero THC in it, therefore it's useless to the drug crowd. The we're making these extremely energy efficient building panels from the stuff, and there's no waste.

That's not what irony means. And marijuana does not motivate people to get jobs, it motivates them to drop out of college and move in with their parents.

It already does. Sellers will just be taxed and not face prison time with legalization.

Went to a hemp symposium in DC.
Tried hemp ice cream.
It was awful.
But, the dude was being priced out due to the fact that he had to import it from Canada, the UK, and China.

Also, hemp can be used to make concrete and the world's best insulation, which is why it's illegal to manufacture in the us (protectionist policies).

Those industries have done one hell of a successful campaign against Hemp. They've grown fat on greed and lies. Soon their time will be at an end.

It all started with making marijuana illegal. It was never about marijuana, it was about hemp.
