It's friendly. Leave it be if it was me.

Posted byMessageTexasTiger08Help identifying this spider… by TexasTiger08 I already plan on burning my house down. Found this sucker on the back patio this morning. I live about 2 blocks from the water. It’s been raining a good amount lately. Any ideas??
Idk. See if you can “zoom in” any closer. I’m not sure you’ve squeezed ALL of the life out of those 17 pixels yet.

Louisiana Tarantula
We used to see them in Kisatchee National Forest (Red Dirt WMA) all the time. You could also find scorpions under rocks, as well as a ton of black widow spiders.

I saved a cute black and white jumping spider from death in a work meeting recently. Pretty sure they all think I’m crazy now.
Everyone knows spiders are quite judgemental as a species...

Those chartreuse ones that have an orange spot and seem to be shaped like widows? If so, what are they called?
But they grow up shy because all the other young spiders titter at them behind their hairy little backs...

As good a thread as any. First banana spider of the year at our house. Guess it's time for fall. Relocated it to the bushes.
