I already plan on burning my house down.

Found this sucker on the back patio this morning. I live about 2 blocks from the water. It’s been raining a good amount lately. Any ideas??

Good start. Might want to plan on burning your neighbors house down too just for good measure.

A good spider who eats bad things. Let him live.

I like spiders. I usually relocate them outside. Only exceptions are the brown recluse and occasional black widows in my tack box because I’m constantly digging around in there.

How big is it? The picture is terrible.

If small, it looks like a jumping spider. If you are in the U.S., it is not a "poisonous" spider.

Looks like a baby bird-eating spider. I’d treat that place like Chernobyl and Fukushima, and just get the hell out now. Leave everything behind and run.

My garden is loaded up with jumping spiders and green spiders. I'd love to have some true garden spiders, but I have not had much success finding them.

Growing up in Hawaii, there were tons of the black and yellow garden spiders. We run though the spider loaded shrub areas and come out with spiders and web all over us LOL.

Where do you live? Louisiana has tarantulas but they are mostly found in western and northwestern parishes. But the Louisiana tarantula is brown from the top dorsal view.

My guess would be baby tarantula (assuming you live in a hot climate). Again, the picture is shite.

Of course the pic is terrible. I wasn’t getting close to the damn thing.

I’d estimate the body was about an inch to an inch and a half. The whole thing with legs out maybe 4 inches.

I saved a cute black and white jumping spider from death in a work meeting recently. Pretty sure they all think I’m crazy now.
