Helicopter crashes next to Pearl Harbor visitor center in Hawaii

Bay Area man sprung into action to help save people aboard a Hawaiian sightseeing helicopter that crashed into the water.

The chopper came down at Pearl Harbor, near the visitor center for the USS Arizona memorial.

A tourist captured the crash on a cell phone camera.

Heil and also...

That pilot is damn good. He auto rotated that heo right to the shore but still put it in the water. Not so easy to do.

BTW, this brings back the briefing I got from every Crew Cheif every time I flew in a GOV or MIL bird. If we go down, stay in the helo and wait for me to tell you to get out (to protect from the rotors coming down on you) unless we are on fire in which case run like hell...

Shouldn't the person hold the camera be calling 911 or going to help the people after the crash?
