Outside unit is probably froze up. Go spray with water hose and keep an eye on it .

Happened to a friend earlier. Icicles jammed his outdoor unit up. Went and knocked them off and started right up. No more cool air.

Your outside heat pump unit should have a defrost cycle that should prevent massive frost build-up.
But, I'm not sure how well it works at very low temperatures.

Do you have a crawl space with duct work underneath? Sounds like a duct is loose.
