BS. Ochsner has been great. They also rank top ten in the nation in many specialties. Rank way above the other hospitals in BR.

I’m saying that using the fact that the current system sucks is not an argument AGAINST changing it. I hear people resisting any sort of change in healthcare and their thinking seems to be that *this* is as good as it gets, so changing it could only make things worse, leading to the “frog slowly heating up in the pot syndrome.” I absolutely don’t think the entire country needs the VA model. It’s just sad that people are so unhappy with what they have, but so fearful of change that they don’t want to do anything different. We are such an unhealthy country and so dependent on the medical industry. It’s like we are all in an abusive relationship.
