This aneurysm cannot be operated on because of location( near brain stem) so treating the symptoms is about all we can do.

Don't be afraid to seek out leading treatment centers for your particular situation outside of LA. I had to leave LA for both of my brain surgeries and am getting ready to have a third, potentially at Emory.

See if you can send your MRIs on a CD to an expert in the field for a second opinion. I have done this several times with great success.

Good luck getting help. I've had migraines/headaches for over 12 years. I have an arterial dissection and other complications so I can't take commonly prescribed meds. I have now developed epilepsy, neurologist says could be related to migraines. I'm told to "ride it out" when my head starts to flare and I had a week long bout last week. It's not fun. I do cbd's and mmj edibles. Though I live in a mmj legal state.

Have you been checked for pseudotumor cerebri(brain pressure up as if you have a tumor but there is no tumor)?

Neuro would do a spinal tap if he thought that was an issue.

NVM saw where he had a diagnosis

Take a drive over to Premier Pain Center on the Northshore. One of the docs is a former LSU Golden Girl.

Crawlin king snake. They did a cerebral angiogram on me and I believe It is exactly what you have( arterial dissection). I have good days, weeks and bad ones. I get dull headaches on and off all day on bad days. Laying down usually helps. What did you mean by living in a mmj state? Thanks for advice. My quality of life is dropping with this problem I have.

I know your neurologist has probably been over this, but the vast majority of headaches are the result of being dehydrated. If your urine is yellow, drink more.

Do you recommend regular or light beer, or even a good stout?
