Dunno if this counts, but it's the closest thing I can think of.
My first job was McDonald's. When I started, the truck shipments were big on Wednesday and small on Sunday. For the Wednesday trick they would have 3 off duty guys come in and work 3 hours to unload the truck, and they all got comped a meal. On Sunday, one guy would come in and unload the truck in about an hour, take a break, and then worked a 4 hour shift. I worked a lot of the Sunday trucks. At first, it was fine. Then they switched the trucks to half and half, but the managers didn't adjust the staffing for the shipments. I wound up pulling muscles in my back and chest several times, and when I was unloading the trucks I'd get bitched at for taking too long because they were short staffed up front. I asked for help on several occasions and never got any. One day, I was in the middle of unloading a truck and was tired of it. I was so pissed that I was throwing the boxes of patties in the freezer across the freezer instead of stacking them, and punching boxes. Eventually, in the middle of a truck shipment, I realized that that shitty job was not worth the stress and I quit on the spot. Tapped my manager on the shoulder and said 'hope you have a nice life. I quit.' and left. They came chasing after me in the parking lot to try to get me to stay or at least finding the truck shipment.. I said no and left. The only job I ever walked out on.

I feel like that dude right now. I's only been 4 days, and I have still been communicating with clients from home, I have just been ignoring everyone in my company.
I feel bad though. I will be on the conference call tomorrow.
